A New Year, 2012
It's been a year since I started this blog and I want to thank my loyal followers and supporters and friends and family who come here to see what I have been doing. and... drum roll... an entry into a national show
A pull toy with horse and art doll rider, mixed media, wood, metal, fabric with graphite and acrylics, I call it Shades of Grey. It is 23 x 21 x 8. Enjoy!
OH! How very nice! I am entranced by some of the details on that work of art, like her right hand, for example, and the manner in which the horse's neck is bowed, not to mention her elaborate clothing.
Thank you, Rhissanna. That is hand painted matelasse. At some point I will get that horse pattern I developed into PDF from to sell! I keep putting that task off. I have also just purchased over the last few months some gorgeous jacquard linens and some real horsehair to make some bigger ones with rockers.
